Lucian Age: 19 Race: Human Birthplace: Villnore Gender: Male Class: Mercenary Battle orientation: Swordsman Lucian was born and raised in Coriander Village with his sister. He probably had to work hard to help support his family, and his parents sold his sister to slavers (how nice) so they could feed the rest of the family (how nice), but the highlight of his childhood was obviously his best friend, Platina. They played together religiously when they didn't have to work, and he probably loved her all of his life. SO when he found out Platina's parents had sold her, he rushed to her bedroom window and spirited her away into the night. Platina died on that journey, and Lucian blames himself for her demise, even years later. He wandered into Gerabellum and joined a group of thieves, where he did his best to help support the destitute population in the slums of the capitol. Claire constantly tried to get him to forget about Platina and move on, but he refused to be budged. He probably couldn't tell how she felt about him. ^.^ He's dense that way. The little blurb about Lucian in the game says that he doesn't have what it takes to be a true hero, but we all know that's rubbish. When the nobility came burning into the slums with their army, he died saving Claire and a bunch of fleeing children - if that's not heroism, then what is? Oh, but his life picks up once he's taken into Lenneth's service! She may not know who she is, but Lucian picks up on her similarity to Platina right away, and even though he has no way of knowing he's right, he still falls for her.
