Mystina Age: 23 Race: Human Birthplace: Flenceburg Gender: Female Class: Sorceress Battle orientation: Magic Mystina's greatest love seems to be herself, and many people seem to agree with her. She has confessed to being snobbish and narcissistic, and seems perfectly content with who and what she is. Her interests seem to parallel Lezard's, in that she has been researching the connections between the divine and mortal planes (namely, Bifrost), but her ambitions don't include capturing goddesses in mortal vessels, or becoming a god. Godlike maybe, but I don't think she aspires to the real thing. She loves to dream and escape the confines of her body, and that is eventually her downfall. She and Lezard shared the experience of having Lorenta as a teacher. I think both of them were in the elite percentage of the class, but it seems emphasized that despite her power, she still isn't quite able to stand up to him. His expulsion elevated her to the top of the class, but it must have been bitter to know that's how she got there. ^.^ (I'm just guessing, you know. Bet you didn't figure that out.) Mystina is also very resentful toward Lorenta, and it's reasonable to assume that dates back to her school days, as Lorenta was (and still is) a strict diciplinarian. The two do not get along. After Lezard kills her (busy, isn't he?) and she agrees to join Valkyrie, the game reveals that Mystina - or rather, a past incarnation - has served the gods as an einherjar in the past. She was present at the Lost City of Dipan serving Hrist, along with Arngrim and Llewelyn, and participated in the great battle against Brahms one thousand years ago. She has no memory of these events, but it makes her refusal to serve Hrist again (A ending) rather interesting. "If you had been the one to ask, I would never have joined you!" Hmm, sure, Mysty. In any case, though she is "unsuitable" to be sent up to Valhalla, Mystina is a powerful ally, and worth the time to train.
