Nanami Age: 17 Race: Human Birthplace: Hai-Lan Gender: Female Class: Sorceress Battle orientation: Magic Nanami is the adoptive daughter of the local priest in Hai-Lan. Their true daughter, Minayo, died during the rite of passage, and when we're introduced to Nanami in the game, she intends to do what her foster sister couldn't - ascend to power. The ceremony supposedly only works if the supplicant is a blood relation of the priest, but she is determined to prove that it's one's spirit that matters, not blood. She seems to love her foster family very much, and she has grown up to be an admirable person, willing to sacrifice her own happiness to help others. She's definitely hero material - she may be a little naive, but she does what needs to be done. When Minayo's suffering spirit appears at the shrine, Nanami offers to die, so Minayo can live again and be with her parents. There's a lot of story potential in Nanami and Minayo... the game doesn't really tell us much of anything. It's kind of creepy to walk into Hai-Lan and see Nanami's body at the temple, but other than that... ^.^ Voice: n/a Alternate Romanization: n/a |
