Yumei Age: 16 Race: Mermaid Birthplace: Hai-Lan Gender: Female Class: Sorceress Battle orientation: Magic Yumei is a half human, half mermaid girl, daughter of Hai-Lan's General Koh and his mistress (or one of them? Sheesh). She and her mother had a hard life because of their close association with a human, so Yumei grew up in a very cold, uncaring world. After her mother's death, she journeyed to Hai-Lan to find her father, but she was a few years too late - her father was dead, and there was nothing left to find. She met Fuyuki on her journey, and both the book and the game imply they were in love - or at least, Fuyuki was in love with Yumei. ^.^ Was it the other way around? Probably. But she died before anything could come of it; when the Cerluean Lapis appeared to Fuyuki, he used his wish to make sure she would be able to stay together with her parents, as she wanted. It's a shame you don't get to keep Yumei that long in the game - I liked her voice. But she's the only truly qualified einherjar in... Chapter Five, is it?
