Illusion of Memory: The Continued Story Also known as: IoM GAIDEN, because unnecessary Japanese always makes a fangirl's day. Mana Angel and I decided that, with the mailing list more or less dead, we wanted to keep the legacy alive with our two original characters. Therefore, most of what you'll see here - but not all - revolves around the characters Judas and Raeger. They didn't appear in VP, of course, and in some cases these stories have almost nothing to do with the game, except that they make generous use of its world and history. Some people enjoy them despite that; some people enjoy them because of that. I just thought it would be fair to tell you what you're getting into. These are more or less in chronological order, with most recent posts at the bottom. Ruby, Lapis, and Gold - by Amber Michelle Judas muses on how he should revive the ancient traditions of Egypt, and explains the mystery of his earrings to Jelanda. Sort of. The Fall of Egypt - by Amber Michelle The legend of Amenti's destruction by Hrist's hand, as handed down through the generations. A Tasty Treat - by Amber Michelle While stuck in the Amenti tomb, Judas realizes that Raeger needs to eat. This is a very unlucky occasion for her. :p Bitter Hindsight - by Amber Michelle He really shouldn't have killed Lawfer. It's going to cause no end of trouble. "You walk too fast, anyway!" - by Mana Angel Untitled, but I think that captures the essence of their relationship. Sort of. :p Snippets of life on the road with Judas, from Raeger's POV. All That is Left to Her - by Mana Angel The stories are Raeger's saving grace on the long, harsh road through Amenti. A False Door in Kethra - by Amber Michelle In another ancient funerary complex of Amenti, they find evidence of the old gods and the heresy of the last pharoah. Massively AU, but just as fun.
