September 18, 2005: Since Belenus's profile was annoyingly bad, I decided to write it again. I didn't notice this until someone asked me for information on his wife, see, so fixing it never entered my mind. ^^ Since there's still some guesswork involved, don't go looking for absolute fact. I don't have time to pore over the Material Collection right now, or believe me, I would. I hate finding out there are errors on my sites. >_>; There's just not much I can do right now. (And technically, I owe the Xenogears PW a good once-over, first.) If I have time and access to a scanner, I'll see what I can do about providing images of Belenus's wife, since people have made requests in the past. July 24, 2005: Holy crap, I think it's a record! Wow. ^^; The idea is to update when I have correct information, see, and so I've been waiting for the time when I can read the Material Collection without a problem. Not quite there yet, but I can read it and figure out what's going on, so perhaps I'll start updating now, and just correct things later. Better than letting the page sit. Unless we're talking Xeno fandom, and please... let's not. =D Illusion of Memory is pretty dead, but the archive will be updated occasionally with stuff my friends and I come up with. Manga scans are also in order, I think. If I get off my ass and do something, I suppose character information will be the first in line for updating. For now, I'm just here to apologize and promise new material, as usual. :p October 13, 2004: The Flenceburg Academy of Witchcraft and Wizardry archive has been updated with four or five new posts. I would have updated earlier, but I was hit by a nasty bout of laziness. That happens too often with this site. >_>; So, um. Future updates will probably consist mostly of story posts, unless my classes give me time to do more research. I want to do write-ups for the other gods, but I won't do it until I know more about their mythic counterparts. Sadly, Norse mythology has never been my favorite area of reserach. It's slow going. Anyway, sorry for such slow updates. July 21, 2004: The Flenceburg Academy of Witchcraft and Wizardry archive has been updated with a p-sheet for Professor XD and a few new posts. The main Illusion of Memory archive has been updated with Judas post #3. I'm off to Comic Con! I hope there aren't any problems. ^.^ July 15, 2004: Fan update! (Game information will be slow in coming.) Camila sent me a very nice Lenneth wallpaper (yay! fan work!), and you can find it on page two of the wallpaper archive. Right now it's only available in 1024x768. We've started a (silly) new plot on the Illusion of Memory list, so the Flenceburg Academy of Witchcraft and Wizardry was born. It's a quick, interactive story, so with luck the archive will be updated often. It's listed as 'Flenceburg Mini-plots' on the sidebar. That's it for now. June 3, 2004: Oh, how time flies! I'm not dead, but the site is at least halfway there - sorry about that. I'm seriously thinking of taking the game information I already have and throwing it into a text file for download, so I can turn this site into a fan/media site. It would be better off that way, because I just don't have the motivation to write character profiles these days. Wallwalker submitted three excellent stories, and they have been added to the fic page. IoM is showing signs of life, so with luck, the archive will be updated in the near future. Make my dream come true, and send me a lot of fan work. Pretty please! December 13, 2003: Just a short note. Due to inaction, Lezard, Brahms, and Rinki have been removed from the IoM persona list, but their posts have been left in the story archive. Arngrim is on probation. If you write for any of these characters and object to being removed, please contact us so we know you're still interested. If we receive no word, these characters will be considered open for application again. December 2, 2003: Two new IoM posts for the archive this time - Judas #2 and Raeger#1. Very fun. And if we, you know, get off our asses, we might have yet more to add to the archive! It'll be a miracle! It turns out I didn't update Hai-Lan all that much - the history is more or less accurate. The page for Amenti is up, finally. It's a bit rambling, and I might go back and fix that, but I need to detach myself from it before I can see it more objectively. I might try to tackle one of the other countries in the meantime, or if I get the chance, scan the images I need to finish the character section. I need help with the scanning bit, so that will have to wait until vacation. I'm replaying the game, so hopefully I will be able to move a little faster as time goes on. Part of the problem (with this site and Guardian Angels) is the time that has passed since my last playthrough. My Japanese isn't so good at this moment that I can afford to use the Material Collection as my only source of information. I have a little bit to go, for that. Ja~ October 31, 2003: Oh look, it's... October. >_>; So, I've had this Suo post sitting around waiting to be added to the archive, and... here it is! Gasp. Do I have anything else to show for my long absence? Absolutely not. Which sucks, since I had so much time on my hands during the summer. ^^ Oops? I'm working on a page for Amenti on and off at school, and I'll be touching up Hai-Lan's page soon as well. Just as soon as I get time, really. Sorry for the long silence. July 14, 2003: The Rules and Guidelines for Illusion of Memory have been updated. They really needed that. ^.^ Changes to archival information have been made, and a blank p-sheet (in text format) has been made available under the appropriate heading. We also have a new (and incredibly awesome) Suo p-sheet up in the persona archive. Damon is (let's say it again!) awesome. And he's almost as lazy as I am. Hurrah! And since I took so long to get this update up (I started this on June 19th, can you believe it?), we also have another awesome character for IoM to introduce - Raeger Etherell. Gasp. I revised the valkyrie pages! Finally! Not that they're much to look at now, either, but they're better. That's all I'm willing to do right now, sadly - have I mentioned that I'm lazy yet? ^^ Kaylissa Lockheart has submitted a character profile for Tyr, and it will be added as soon as I scan him. I was all ready to post it (finally) when I realized that I don't have any images of him. Sorry about that. ^^ May 11, 2003: The Rules and Guidelines for Illusion of Memory have been added. They're linked to from the fan index and every IoM-related page. The page for Flenceburg has also been added. (Oops. Forgot about it!) April 20, 2003: Let's give a hearty thanks to Yahoo for losing our first Badrach post! ^^ It has been added to the archives. And, although I think they suck, profiles for Belenus and Kashell have been added (finally) to the character section. One new link - Weary Spearsman. Boredom has merits, I suppose. April 17, 2003: An Illusion of Memory post involving Kashell, Celia, Stephane, and Aelia has been added. All IoM archives have been updated. I'm lazy and GA killed my motivation to write game pages, so as soon as I regenerate, there will be more content. ^.^ I should really beg people for fan fiction, but the success rate isn't very high. Sitting around and doing nothing is much easier. So, anyway. Character pages for Kashell, Gandar, Belenus, and... I guess Brahms and Freya are coming up. I don't want to promise anything though - it's been a long time since I've played, and I'm afraid these'll suffer because of that. (More than usual, that is.) I forgot to scan stuff for Badrach, Jayle, and Lawfer, and I don't feel like researching Loki and Surt right now. If someone wants to do it for me I will be happy to take advantage of your hard work and credit you with a properly fangirlish thanks on any given page. If not, you get to wait! Oh yes. New, more accurate mythology for the existing pages is also on the way. Again, I'm just too lazy for words. March 23, 2003: I apologize for the severe lack of updates. I've been working on the long-overdue renovation for Guardian Angels, and that has taken a lot out of me. Believe it or not, Xenosaga only ate my brain for two and a half weeks. Today, I have - wow. One Illusion of Memory post! Isn't that just amazing? There are two new archives for it as well - one by author, and one by plot. The navigation for that section has been converted to SSI for my sanity, and so has this index page. If there are any problems, please let me know. March 3, 2003: This isn't a real update. I just figured I'd let everyone know I'm not dead, and there will be an update soon. I'm kind of distracted by Xenosaga. February 1, 2003: One Judas post (IoM), and a new fan fic ("Gratitude"), both up in the fan section. There's also another new link. I keep finding new sites - or, at least, more sites. I really didn't know how many there were out there. In other news... I think I'm going to replace the Character and World sections with something else - the scans, of course, and then a section with notes on /just/ the characters or places that have significance. There's no reason for me to rehash all of the information the game has given us, right? I only bothered with character and nation articles because of the references, so I might as well be direct about it. And honestly, though I love VP as a game, I'm not as interested in Norse mythology as I am in Egyptian and Hebrew legends. *shrug* Not enough, certainly, to scour the library. Oh well. January 17, 2003: I've been bad; very lazy. ^^ Though I doubt anyone is hanging on what I'll update next. (But if you are, hey - let me know. I need the motivation!) A p-sheet for Badrach has been added to the Illusion of Memory archive, and two new links have been added to (*gasp*) the links page. Not much of an update, I know, but... I'm bored. Sigh. January 3, 2003: Three wonderful pieces of fan art added, one Illusion of Memory post (Lenneth), and one new IoM p-sheet (Belenus). Looking at the character section, I realized that Belenus and Kashell have been shafted - I don't lack scans or information for them. Oops. The others really do need to stay on hold, though. ^.^ A new link has also been added. I think I need to make an "update" page, if only so the front page won't be cluttered with past updates. ^^ Ah well - maybe when I'm not feeling so lazy. November 25, 2002: One new character added to Illusion of Memory, and corrections made to a few other p-sheets. The font and link colors on the posts have been fixed. As before, Character and World data is on hold. November 22, 2002: A slight style change - if there are any broken links, please let me know so I can fix them. Character and World data is still on hold. November 18, 2002: For now, the rest of the character and world pages will be put on hold. Most of them require more research on my part, both with the game and the mythology the game is based on, so I'd like to take the time to do that before continuing. When I resume updates for those sections, I will also try to correct the mistakes that are already there - but if you have a comment on something, please feel free to contact me about it. The fan section will still be updated, since that only requires me to post work by other people. ^.^ So if you have anything to send (or if IoM gets flooded with story posts, by some miracle), those will be added to the site as usual.
